    I was honestly afraid to buy this because it was just so cheap. Other reviews I wondered if it would be 1) for my business or 2) come to me DOA. Originally, I was looking for a MIDI-USB cable to connect my Line 6 Flextone III XL guitar amplifier to my computer for editing tone. After reading many tips to buy the cable M-Audio UNO USB MIDI (for * cough * * cough * forty bucks), I thought there must be something cheaper. I found it! Br / br / The cord is packaged in atransparent cellophane wrapper with a small sheet of paper instructions. Other than the twist ties. Inserted into my laptop Vista (V6.0.6002 SP 2) and "ker-plunk" was recognized by the operating system and drivers properly installed automatically. NICE! After I created the software to use with my amp (the Line 6 software, software cable as there is none) that works like a charm frik'n. I am not sending massive amounts of MIDI data back and forth so I can not say how well it would workfor heavier applications. For what I'm using for instead – sending small data files back and forth – its absolutely perfect.     The first one I got did not work. Left the company and were very helpful, although I wish they would not be taken so long to answer my emails. It took a week of back and forth before sending email that they sent me a new one. When the newcomer here, it worked perfectly.
