I like the look of colorful ceramic bowls in the kitchen – especially when a batter by mixing boring beige, but how I really prefer a glass bowl sitting in drip everything looks crisp and clean after use. Both are heavy, even before filling with batter heavy. I also like the circle on these Pyrex bowls, because it stops dripping when you pour the batter over. Glass does not chip as easily as ceramic bowls, if you accidentally hit with a handheld mixer.Compared to the use of glass, plastic feels slippery to me, is limited by its opacity, but is lighter (which could be a major benefit for older cooks). Metal bowls are usually lighter, but it can be depressing in a kitchen because their solid domestic graytone prevents any light to illuminate your creation. I recommend these bowls Pyrex as a Housewarming gift perfect.

These are durable and reliable, it is more Pyrexware. I am a bit 'smaller than I expected, so look at a ruler before ordering so you know what you're getting, But still a nice addition to my kitchen shelf.
