If you are accustomed to using AutoCAD, this will probably dip a little nut. Several features quite a few 'you use as long as trim and expand, are not so easy to use or find (I still love the stretch of cannot or expand). But this does not seem to be able to insert drawings into other drawings as blocks. It could be me. Br / Overall, though this is a very good program for the money, just a little 'frustrating.br /

Two years ago I bought Punch! architecture drafting software to help with some design projects for remodeling my home. Sympathy, I recently had ViaCAD 2D/3D V6 to facilitate the design of a tubular chassis and suspension of a custom vehicle that I am in the process of acquisition of shares for.br / br / I run a house built on this proggy 2.2 GHz P4 system with 3 / 4 Gig of RAM, a GeForce MX400 video card NVidea (support dual monitors Acer 1716), Maxtor 60 GB and 120 GB Hard … under Windows2000 Pro, SP4. The software works very well on this system, although not particularly powerful and well furnished, by today's standards. Additionally, ViaCAD 2D/3D V6 is not officially supported on this operating system, which is probably for most, if not all, of any eccentricity that I met with the program. br / br / In all, I am very happy with this software. The tools are powerful enough to do very complex drawings and are "relatively" intuitive as they do. What is awell, because the included manual leaves much to be desired. Prior knowledge of editing terminology and techniques is a big plus … It 'been more than 20 years since I studied drawing and what little I remember I was served well.br / br /
