That's the point. I am 60, have a Nintendo DSi … play constantly and my arthritic hands are slightly larger. Have no intention of getting the DSi XL (who are planning to come out with a DSi 3D), But When I saw this DSi XL Large twin pack Stylus I thought it would be a good idea because I need a stylus Longer Than what DSi was on offer. Pretty basic: long fingers need a longer stylus. The stylus was found to be thicker than what I perceived to be in the picture. It 's just notwork well for me. If he were thinner I would be happy a camper. But I must say that I did not know it came with a wrist strap. This is an excellent feature! Great idea! Now remember, this is an evaluation of personal experience. It 's really a good product, but simply did not work for me. Thanks for listening.

The tip on the end of each style is not straight. It can be bent back, carefully, to make them straight, but these are not the same quality as the stylus large that comes with the DSi XL. I do not buy them back at $ 7.99. The wrist strap plastic is very cheap about it. The packaging is more robust than the product.
