I love this food mill to make applesauce. It's so easy. I did apples for over 40 years but my other broken mill that was similar to the new one. I would highly recommend this one.

Worthless – MDP – Texas
I bought this several years ago and I am replacing it simply does not get the job done. Most of the food remains stuck inside, instead of going out on the bottom, and it takes a lot of downward pressure to get anything. The control knob at the bottom with the spring is very difficult to regulate and requires a clamp to make it turn. This food mill is a unique piece and has no removable disks, so it is only one format, very difficult to clean.

Unfortunately, this is done in a slightly bent parts, if you're not very careful. Also the blade is not near the edge of the pan so that you are trying to strain squishes out and must be dug up at the end.
