In my opinion, among the many horror spoof / parody of the 70s and 80s, there are 2 movies that are actually classics.The first real, Mel BrooksGene Wilder "Young Frankenstein." The second is this hilarious spoof / parody of "Dracula" Dracula films.The basic premise is forced from its home of Transylvania, and heading to New York to make a model of its bride.With a talented cast, this film becomes a hilarious, memorable fish out of water "story.George Hamilton (" Where are boys ") is aDracula's great, very nice, very sweet and also very amusing.Arte Johnson ("Laugh In") is fun to laugh aloud, as Dracula (eating bugs) assistant Renfield.Susan San Giacomo ("Kate and Allie") shines like Cindy, the beautiful model, who is infatuated with.But Dracula in my opinion, Richard Benjamin ("The Sunshine Boys"), nearly walks away with the image, as Dr.Geoffrey Rosenberg, a psychiatrist crazy (probably a relative Dr. Van Helsing) who will stop at nothing to destroy Dracula.There 's also a greatsupporting cast, including Dick Shawn ("The Producers"), and Isabel Sanford and Sherman Hemsley (George and Louise TV "The Jeffersons"). This film is filled with many funny moments, it really is the best parody of all movies about vampires. I give this movie 4 stars, I would have given 5, but the music has changed, "I Love The Nightlife" (which played during the disco scene in the movie theater) was replaced by a generic disco tune that puts a real damper on a fun scene.

Dracula has never been so funny and dashing – to say nothing of being an awesome disco dancer – as in this “delightful movie with a bang-up cast” (The New York Times) led by the epitome of suave, George Hamilton, and featuring first-rate performances from Susan Saint James, Richard Benjamin, Dick Shawn, Arte Johnson, Sherman Hemsley and Isabel Sanford! Evicted from Transylvania, Dracula (Hamilton) goes to New York to make Cindy (Saint James), a model with an old soul, his eternal bride. To his delight, she quickly falls for his necking style. But when her would-be boyfriend (Benjamin), a descendant of the vampire-killing Van Helsings, meets his romantic rival, he’s determined to put a stake in the count’s plans!

A Wonderful Blast from the Past – Pat Jake – Eureka, CA.
I liked this movie when I saw long ago. I still enjoy watching today. However, I am a bit 'disappointed in the company of films that have changed the song during the dance scene where Dracula's disco dance with Cindy. The new song just is not good for dance and the original song.

Buyer Beware – they took out the original I Love the Night Life song – Paul in London –
The whole movie was ruined for me when I discovered with horror that the DVD version of the film has replaced the signature song Alicia Bridges "I Love Life Night" with some other song definitely not disco. It ruined the whole movie. Like some other reviewers in a bit 'everywhere, this parody. The tone of the film is lost. So beware if you're trying to catch the look and you felt when you first saw the movie, everything is gone. It 's still a good funfilms, Richard Benjamin is great and George Hamilton can not go beyond the adequacy top his portrayal of Count Dracula. Just be warned, your favorite song that made the entire movie was removed.
