This dish worked well for our Corgi when we flew her in a kennel for about 10 hours with a connecting flight from AZ to FL. The water was frozen overnight and when she arrived, she still had a lot left as well as food. The edges are rounded and keep the water (or food) in pretty well, and if she bumped into it it wouldn’t hurt her. It was easy to attach and detach. Just pop it on and off. For something so simple and basic, yet necessary, I was pleased with it.

Excellent product! Great for traveling, wonderful for grates. No spill! Perfect of small to medium sized dogs (8lbs. to 18lbs). Easy to remove for cleaning and refills. Very stable when traveling.

It is larger than the small white cups that tend to come with kennels (which are worthless)- this one keeps more water in the bowl. With this cup, your pet may actually get something to drink instead of wearing it the first time they move the kennel. If you keep water frozen in it to thaw during the journey, see how your dog tends to lie in the crate so you can position it not to drip condensation on his nose.
