    I ordered the b / g 1000-watt version of this series 36H and used a month without problems, then decided to give this a try because it is the future with the pickup signal N. So far I've paid more money for this, not much but can not tell any difference exceptional collection of signals, get maximum range is 1-2 miles. I went 2-3 hours to 10-15 signals, the signal strength improved to 3-5 1-3 bar. But to be honest I can not tell a difference in picking up or wifi hotspotsN is the signal using this antenna Alpha, I was doing the same with the 1000 watt model 36H. No loss, but little or no gain. Time will tell otherwise it works just great. Might want to buy active and 16-32 m USB extension cable to connect this antenna alpha so you can move a room or office or whatever to get best signal near a window. I have not used the installation disk, just did a plug and play with the Alpha wifi antenna in the PC and found the software to installhardware and it works just great. This is a very good wifi antenna, I also use only 5 dBi, 9 dBi is not going to improve your signal to all, speaking from experience, so save your money. Oh, and a 'last note I'm using this on Windows 7.

    Works as described. Sensitivity for 802.11g is not as good as Rx AWUS036H anyway. In general, it works great!

    I have two Alfa 1W 1000MW one of them on my desk than 200 ft from the router, and that is the stronger of the two I get from four to five bars with it. with the Alpha 2W 2000mw I am fortunate to have 2 bars out of it in exactly the same position, not satisfied at all. I'll be replacing it with another alpha 1W 1000MW not waste your money for the Alpha 2W what 2000mw ii watts more than messed up. undoubtedly get the Alfa 1W 1000MW you wont be sorry

    I got this card for a computer medium that is far away from our wireless router. I was with a Linksys WUSB600NV2, who had all kinds of driver issues, and continues to lose connection.br / br / The Alpha device installed very easily – I used the driver downloaded from their website, and ran the program installation, choosing the option to install driver only. I immediately better, faster, more reliable signal. Playing video from a central server, it was impossible nowworks great. (Windows XP SP2) br / br / A surprise came when I installed the card on a laptop that Alfa had always thought it had decent performance 802.11n networks. (Windows 7 32-bit) I hooked up, Windows 7 found the drivers automatically, and I connected with Alfa (and the laptop WiFi off). Again, the jump performance was breathtaking, approximately 30% faster and more stable.
